THE CRUSH / 2026 MIDTERMS
ELECTIONS
Race-first election markets from Kalshi’s 2026 Midterms category. Each event keeps its candidate and outcome contracts together so the chart shows repricing inside the race.
30-DAY MARKET COMPOSITE
Democratic vs Republican
Each qualifying two-party race is normalized to 100%, then each race contributes equally. Trading volume does not affect the composite.
Daily market prices over the last 30 days. When a daily candle is missing, the latest close carries forward for up to 3 days; older prices are skipped. This is an equal-weighted market composite, not a poll or an independent election forecast.
TIMEFRAME QUICK GUIDE 30d/7d = context · 24h = today’s change · 6h/1h/15m = close-up view
Simple version: This is chart zoom. It shows how the market price changed over the selected window. It does not show time left until Election Day, votes counted, or who will win.
- Read the longer windows first. Then compare 24h. Use short windows to inspect when a move happened.
- Strengthening, weakening, FIRE, and Move Quality describe price history and momentum. They do not measure voter support.
- Volume means market trading activity. It is not a poll or vote count.
Kalshi describes contract prices as the market’s view of an event. Historical research shows that price accuracy can differ by market design. The 2026 University of Iowa working paper compared historical Iowa Electronic Markets with Kalshi and included 2024 Kalshi election contracts. Kalshi price guide · University of Iowa paper.
Keep it straight: THE CRUSH shows election-market price action. It does not independently call election winners.

NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE
THE CRUSH provides market data, charts, and signals for general information. It is not financial or investment advice, and nothing here is a personal recommendation to buy or sell a contract. Signals describe market activity; they do not guarantee an outcome or profit. Prices, scores, and feeds may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Prediction-market trading involves risk, and you can lose money. Check the contract rules, live quote, fees, and order details on Kalshi before placing an order.
